Why I started with TeamLRF....
I have been competing in bikini class now for nearly 3 years, although I have achieved a few top placings, I only ever competed for fun which meant I didn’t take competing serious at all.
After I finished my show in 2020, I realised this was something that I wanted to really invest my time in and take seriously. This was a huge deal for me as I lacked confidence and didn’t believe in myself to even think I would even be a ‘big competition’ to anyone!
Searching my social media, I came across TeamLRF and seeing so many successful athletes turn pro, I just took the plunge and signed up, after being with rob for well over a year, I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made. I had a very bad prep with my previous coach, so Rob had to pick up the pieces and get me back in a healthy state, he worked closely with me to help me get out of my binging habits – which was mentally challenging and could have never have got through without Rob! Unfortunately, the damage was already done before joining TeamLRF, as I binged for weeks with no control or support from my previous coach.
My first ever off-season wasn’t as great as it could have been, being in lock down for the whole of my growing phase with limited equipment, also for the first few weeks of my prep and binging for weeks before joining TeamLRF, I unfortunately had gained too much body fat.
Although my off-season wasn’t as good as I’d hoped, I still had the best competing season in the 3 years I have been competing! With top 3 in PCA, 2 x 2nd, 3 x 1st places and 2 British titles with 2BRO. TeamLRF have helped me achieve what I thought wasn’t possible and believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself!
The goal for 2022 is to work towards the IFBB pro card, I will update on you on my 2nd off-season and competing plans for this year soon!
